I’ll be honest-I partake in all the holiday-themed nail trends, from Easter nails to Thanksgiving nails, but Christmas nails really bring something special to the table, if you’re someone who celebrates Christmas. But one of the most fun things? Getting dressed up from head-to-toe in a holiday lewk-and yes, that includes Christmas nail art. I’m a person who loves getting cozy in fuzzy pajamas, sipping on eggnog, and eating all the holiday treats I can find while being surrounded by sparkles. Available at Walgreens.I don’t know about you, but the absolute best part of the Christmas holiday ( aside from the presents, obv) is the themed festivities. imPRESS Accent Press-On Manicure – $7.99 USD for 1 kit.The Collection Nails by KISS – $7.99 USD for 1 kit.Unfortunately, imPRESS Accent Press-On Manicure nails were too short for me, and my natural ones were peeking at the top, but if you prefer shorter length, I totally recommend these! The shape is nicely squared, and the design is adorable: I just love that combination of silver glitter, plain white creme, and stars & stripes in this kit, and would definitely rock it if my nails were shorter. I just don’t recommend acetone nail polish remover all the time, but nothing bad will happen if you only use it from time to time.
Don’t worry about damaging your nails – mine are thin and bendy, and they were perfectly fine after I removed the artificial ones. The removal is pretty painless as well – simply file the surface of the nails until they’re no longer shiny and use acetone nail polish remover until they slide off your nails easily. The nails require minimal care and were actually quite comfortable to wear I forgot I even had them on after a couple of hours. If applied correctly, your KISS manicure can last up to one week.
Talons are still on-trend, right? I think the best thing to pair with cool girl nails is a bright lipstick, and I’m rocking here my favorite red. I think they look kinda cool that way, and make my fingers look longer. The Collection Nails by KISS come squared, so I filed them into an oval shape.

Each kit also comes with a tiny nail file and a manicure push stick to help tuck in any loose skin from the sides, and swipe away oozing glue, if there’s any. All artificial nails in the kit have medium length, which was perfect to cover my natural nails, since they’re quite long at the moment. The Collection Nails by KISS kit includes 24 nails in 12 different sizes, so finding a set that matches each of my nails was very easy. I tried both The Collection Nails by KISS and imPRESS Accent Press-On Manicure to see how they compare, since press-on nails can be very different in fit, length, and overall feel. This year I have quite a few options! First of all, fun patriotic nail art couldn’t get any easier than with some press-on manicure, that already has beautiful stars and stripes design printed on it. As a beauty blogger, I always feel like it’s my duty to be extra artsy, and show this Holiday some love in other ways – through creative makeup of nails.
